Serse Cosmi Out, Delio Rossi In At Palermo

Troubled Palermo have spun the managerial merry-go-round once more, firing Serse Cosmi following their 4-0 defeat at the hands of Catania and somehow ending up back where they started with Delio Rossi, who had himself been given the boot from the Rosanero after a 7-0 home defeat at the hands of Udinese less than two months prior to being reinstated. Palermo Officially Sacks Delio Rossi, Replaces Him With Serse Cosmi

After Palermo’s embarrassing 7-0 loss to Udinese, there were strong grumblings that manager Delio Rossi would be fired on Monday morning. He got Genoa promoted to Serie A from Serie B before managing Udinese, where he inherited a team who had qualified for the UEFA Champions League. However, less than satisfactory results led to him being fired. He then had stints at Brescia and Livorno, the latter of which employed him into 2010.
