Not going to lie, this match is hardly a thriller. Both sets of defences have been on top so far, Weligton admirably marshalling the Malaga backline, while Alexis and Fazio have cut out everything that has been thrown their way. This match is crying out for someone to create a moment of magic and you’d have to say looking at both lineups, Sevilla are the more likely to do so. Navas, Fabiano and Perotti are all capable of conjuring up a little piece of magic and new boy Rakitic is also showing some neat touches.

Malaga are struggling badly to get big man Julio Baptista into the game, with only Rondon creating danger down the left. Not quite sure what Malagas billionaire owners will be making of this but so far you’d have to say its money not well spent. Someone score…..please.
