Bolton Vs. Aston Villa: Darren Bent Gives Visitors The Early Lead

After fifteen minutes, Darren Bent has given Aston Villa the 1-0 over Bolton Wanderers. Kyle Walker took the ball up the right channel with Stuart Holden giving chase. Holden couldn't stop Villa's attacking defender as Walker sent a perfectly placed cross into the box. Bent was lurking, unnoticed, near the far post, and only needed to tap the ball in.

The visitors started off attacking and have yet to stop -- there's no playing for a draw here at the Reebok. In fact, Bent himself had an excellent opportunity just a few minutes in, beating the Bolton offside trap and going one on one with Jussi Jaaskelainen before seemingly losing his mind, taking too long to contemplate the shot and giving the keeper the chance to grab the ball.

The Villa attack keeps going, with the team having had a taste of four goals last week and wanting to continue savoring it (especially after a 3-0 loss to Manchester City midweek). Then again, Bolton haven't lost in their last four matches, only dropping points once, against Newcastle last week.
