Fulham took a momentary lead in the second half against Blackburn, but after giving up an equalizer shortly after the hour mark, the Cottagers - who have drawn 14 of 28 matches this season - have been pulled back, the score now 2-2 at Craven Cottager. Damien Duff's second goal of the match had given Mark Hughes's side a 2-1 lead, but left-footed volley from David Hoilett has equalized for Blackburn.
Fulham Vs. Blackburn: Damien Duff, David Hoillet Keeps Match Tied
Duff's goal came after bulid-up down the right left him with a opportunity from just outside the Rovers area. The ball played centrally to Moussa Dembele, the Beligan laid a ball off for the right-winger to come in on his strong foot. A nice strike beat Paul Robinson low for the go-ahead goal.
The equalizer was as much the product of Jason Roberts' hard work as it was Hoillett's strike. The Blackburn forward, working to the left of goal, near the byline, eventually flicked a ball back toward the spot, winning possession away from two Cottagers. There, David Hoillett unloaded on a nice, controlled volley that sliced into the left side netting, making it 2-2.
