Mexican Primera Division, Chivas Guadalajara Vs. Necaxa: Lineups
Two clubs in different parts of the Group 1 table square off in a Friday night Mexican Primera Division contest at Nemesio Diez in Toluca. Chivas Guadalajara enters the match in third place in the group, but a win would move them into a second place tie and one point behind first place Tigres. Meanwhile, Necaxa is just one point from the bottom of the group and in need of results. FMF State of Mind has the initial insight into the match.
Both Chivas Guadalajara and Necaxa are teams who have occasionally looked anemic in attack. Both teams have plenty of talent in attacking roles, but the combination of their anemic tendencies and their matching formations seems like it could cancel each other out. No one should be surprised to see a 0-0 draw tonight, but with Erick Torres on the pitch, it wouldn't be smart to bet on Chivas not scoring. He scored a brace in his last game, and the youngster has looked fantastic since he moved into a starting role.
Projected Chivas lineup (4-4-2): Michel; Esparza, Reynoso, Luna, Magallon; Sanchez, Araujo, Gallardo, Medina; Arellano, Torres
Projected Necaxa lineup (4-4-2): Perez; Ledesma, Quatrocchi Salazar, Castro; Sandoval, Chavez, Mosqueda, Silva; Gandin, Suarez.
