Philadelphia Union Vs. Seattle Sounders: Union Ahead 1-0 At Halftime

The Philadelphia Union maintain their 1-0 lead over the Seattle Sounders at halftime thanks to the free kick goal by Carlos Ruiz in the 31st minute.

The Union have produced the majority of good play on the pitch in Chester this afternoon while the Sounders have failed to impressed on the offensive end once again. Keon Daniel for the Union must be playing everywhere in the midfield, because I've seen him distributing to wide open teammates on the left, right, and center.

The Sounders are by no means out of this one. They were definitely outplayed in the first half, but it was not by that much. The insertion of Fredy Montero in the second half would likely see the Sounders have more of the run of play. They will have to figure out a way to break down this Philadelphia defense, however, which will not be an easy task. Hopefully the weather will improve in the second half for both sides.
