It's now 3-0 to the visitors at Toronto FC's BMO Field, and it's difficult to say that that scoreline is undeserved. Toronto have gone to a three-man back line following the dismissal of Ty Harden shortly after half time, but their defenders aren't mobile enough to adequately play in that shape against DC United's attacking players, and Chris Pontius has made them play with another goal.
Toronto FC Vs. DC United: Pontius Bags Brace, Makes It 3-0
All of Toronto's defenders were draw towards the ball as DC powered forward through the middle, leaving Pontius unmarked cutting in from the left. He was fed with a nifty pass, and although Dan Gargan sprinted back to try to provide cover, finally catching up with Pontius in the penalty area, he was easily turned and the midfielder had plenty of time to pick his spot, eventually placing a curling effort beyond Stefan Frei in the Toronto FC goal. It's been game over for a while with DC United 2-0 up and Toronto down to ten men, so this is... game more over?
