Portland Timbers Vs. FC Dallas: Lineups

Lineups are in for the second straight home game for the Portland Timbers at JELD-WEN Field. Today they host FC Dallas who is coming off a big win against the Colorado Rapids a week ago. The Timbers will be keeping a lot of their lineup the same from their Thursday night win over the Chicago Fire.

Dallas is keeping a similar lineup from their win over the Rapids. Brek Shea stays in the back at left back while Marvin Chavez returns from a head injury he picked up in the Colorado game.

The big story to watch in this one is Dallas’ wingers against the wing players of Portland. Dallas has so much speed on the outside that it couse pose a lot of issues for a Portland defense that has been shaky at times this season. We’ll see exactly how they stack up today

Portland Timbers Starting XI: Jake Gleeson; Rodney Wallace, Mamadou Danso, Eric Brunner, Steve Purdy; Kalif Alhassan, James Mercelin, Jack Jewsbury, Jeremy Hall; Kenny Cooper and Jorge Perlaza.
