Portland Timbers Vs. FC Dallas: Wallace Puts Timbers Up 3-0

It is turning into one of those afternoon's for FC Dallas. They have the chances and the possession but with nothing to show for as Rodney Wallace puts the Portland Timbers up 3-0 in the 54th minute.

The goal came after a nice sequence of passes by the Timbers. Kenny Cooper was able to find Kalif Alhassan who danced his way through the Dallas defense and then passed the ball off to Wallace for the game's third goal. The Dallas defense found themselves out of place on the goal as both Alhassan and Wallace were free in the box to link up with one another.

With the third goal of the game Dallas will have to continue to press on but the Timbers are doing a good job of cutting into the Dallas possession here in the second half. It may be the atmosphere at JELD-WEN Field or it is just a sign that the Dallas defense still has a long way to go here. Either way Dallas has a long way to go in this one.
