Vancouver Whitecaps Vs. Sporting Kansas City: Two Goals In 90 Seconds Salvage Tie For Caps
The goals salvaged what otherwise was going to be a hugely disappointing loss for the home team. Not only were they on the verge of being embarrassed by a team that was playing their third straight road game, but two of those goals had come off the feet of Teal Bunbury, who spurned Canada to play for the United States National Team.
Making the three goals even more impressive for the Whitecaps was the fact that they were missing Designated Player Eric Hassli, who was sitting out the game after getting a pair of yellow cards last week. SKC was also missing their DP, Omar Bravo, who got a red card last week.
