While Barcelona are celebrating their emphatic 2-0 win over Real Madrid, the losers are nursing their wounds and their pride. The Champions League final at Wembley now looks out of reach - no team has ever overturned a 2-0 first leg defeat at this stage of the competition, and one has to imagine that they know it, too. Jose Mourinho in particular is furious - we've already shared some of his rather strange remarks that he'd be ashamed to win in such a fashion (there much controversy regarding a game changing red card shown to Pepe with the score still level in the second half), but there are more gems hidden away in his press conference:

The return game is mission impossible. Barcelona have qualified for the final. We had the intention to keep the game at 0-0, then bring on a striker, then a third phase with a No. 10 behind three forwards. But the ref didnt allow it.
At least he’s honest. Mourinho’s right, too - there’s almost no way that the final is anything other than Manchester United vs. Barcelona now. When asked exactly what he said to get himself sent off (he was thrown out of the match shortly after Pepe was shown red), he claimed he said nothing at all:
What did I say to the referee? Nothing, I just laughed. If I say what I feel now, my career ends. I just wonder why.
He didn't say anything - instead, he just gave them a wink and a round of applause. Sarcasm is more than enough to get you sent off these days, not that Mourinho will care that he was sent to the stands. Star player Cristiano Ronaldo also cut a morose figure at the presser:
Playing [with] 10 men isn’t easy. 0-0 would have been a good result. 2-0 is very difficult. Messi played very good but it’s easier against ten. Do I like to play in a defensive team like Madrid did today? No, but I have to adapt to what the coach wants.
Unhappy players, unhappy coach... goes along with unhappy fans, too. It’s been a very very bad day for Real Madrid, who just one week ago were celebrating a Copa del Rey win over these same opponents. How fast things can change.
