Jaguares Chiapas Vs. Atletico Junior: 1-0 Junior At Halftime

Not a good start for the hosts, as Jaguares Chiapas find themselves 1-0 down to Atletico Junior in the first leg of the Roud of Sixteen clash. It took Junior striker Luis Paez barely five minutes to get his side on the board, finishing from close range past Jorge Villapando to give the team a vital away goal. In general, though, Jaguares have given as good as they’ve got - they’ve had a decent number of chances and are a touch unfortunate to be going into halftime trailing.

With a trip to Colombia still on the cards, Jaguares are probably going to go all-out in the second half in an attempt to get at least a draw out of this. However, they risk opening up too much space behind their defence if they do go nuts on the attack, and their opponents will be more than capable of finishing them off unless they’re very careful about the way they go forward.
