One-and-a-bit-year-old Dutch youngster Baerke van der Meij has earned himself a ‘contract’ with local team VVV Venlo after his father uploaded a video of him kicking three balls into a box. The ten year symbolic deal obviously doesn’t mean very much, but the story is pretty cute, so we’re going to suspend our rampant cynicism for just a little bit. Here’s the little guy in action:
