New York Red Bulls Vs. Sporting Kansas City: Lineups

The Juan Agudelo vs. Teal Bunbury Twitter battle has ended with a dud. The two young American strikers had a friendly contest to see who could get the most followers and before they squared off against each other tonight when the New York Red Bulls host Sporting Kansas City, but now we learn that Agudelo isn't even in the staring lineup for the match. Not that it's a surprise with Luke Rodgers playing very well for the Red Bulls at forward, but it must be a disappointment for those who joined #TeamAgudelo.

This match is a chance for New York to jump back atop the Eastern Conference table, a spot they lost when the Philadelphia Union picked up three points this afternoon. Meanwhile, Kansas City is bottom of the table with just four points from five matches this season and need to find a way to move to the middle of the table before a friendly second half of the schedule packed with home matches at their new Sporting Park that can give them a chance to make a run at a playoff spot.

New York Red Bulls: Bouna Coundoul, Jan Gunnar Solli, Rafa Marquez, Tim Ream, Roy Miller, Dane Richards, Dwayne De Rosario, Teemu Tainio, Joel Lindpere, Luke Rodgers, Thierry Henry

Sporting Kansas City: Jimmy Nielsen, Korede Aiyegbusi, Julio Cesar, Aurelien Collin, Michael Harrington, Stephane Auvray, Graham Zusi, Davy Arnaud, CJ Sapong, Teal Bunbury, Kei Kamara
