Chivas USA Vs. New England Revolution: Nick LaBrocca Puts Chivas Up

After some decent possession by Chivas USA, they finally cashed in and got a vital first goal of the game against the New England Revolution. Midfielder Nick LaBrocca opened up things in the 22nd minute with the game's first goal and his first of the season. LaBrocca headed home the goal thanks to a cross from Ben Zemanski.

So far this game has been pretty open as both clubs have seen their chances on goal. New England hasn't been able to get that final touch in their offensive third to separate themselves from Chivas. The few chances the Revolution have seen haven't been on frame to really test Dan Kennedy.

As for the home-side they've had some good build up on offense so far thanks to Zamenski and Jorge Flores. Chivas has held the bulk of the possession so far in this one and get putting lots of pressure on Bobby Shuttleworth's goal.
