↵The independently made documentary details DeMerit’s improbable rise and, at least from all the footage I’ve seen, looks to be impeccably done. The movie is not just about DeMerit, it really seems to follow him in his daily life. It was given the “Rising Star Award” at the Canada International Film Festival and is now making the rounds at various other festivals. It’s the kind of movie that could very well end up following a similar path as its subject.
