SB Nation was at the launch event for the adiPower Predator, which featured footballers from around Europe trying to do trick shots in the new Predators. They weren’t actually very good at them, which made for some amusing scenes, but then came the grand finale: Football paintball.

Seriously, what could be better than seeing Robin van Persie, Kaka, Fernando Llorente, Nani, Jack Rodwell and Jonjo Shelvey kick footballs dipped in paint at small children/each other? Nothing, right? The best part was when Kaka nailed Llorente in the chest and the Athletico striker suddenly realised that the other footballers were reasonable targets. From that point on he actually couldn't stop cackling. Brilliant.
There was also a two foot tall child who spent her time taunting van Persie and dodging everything he sent her way - he later said he wasn’t aiming for the face but the knees but he did hit a couple of them square in the head. It’s ok, though. They were probably Tottenham fans.
Apparently the yellow team won, although I have no idea what that actually entailed. Most kids hit? Most times smacking Jonjo Shelvey in the face? Who knows.
