VIDEO: Pooping Twitter Birds Help Us Understand Injuctions

In case you missed it, here’s the story so far: A footballer has allegedly slept with reality TV star Imogen Thomas, but cannot be named thanks to a British court order known as an injunction*, which basically amounts to a censorship of the media by the courts to protect said athlete’s brand name.

If that didn’t sound particularly interesting this video by Next Media Animation should be more exciting. Bring on the pooping Twitter birds!

There’s another great video of a member of Parliament using parliamentary privilege to flout the ban on reporting the footballer’s name while on live television as well:

*SB Nation is not bound by said injunction, incidentally, but we’ve decided to be nice to the footballer in question by referring to him as ‘37-year-old footballer Ryan G.’.
