Gomes’ brilliant saves have kept Tottenham in matches they didn’t belong in over the last two years, but his errors have also caused them to drop important matches. As a result, Harry Redknapp has opted for a more consistent and reliable option, and it’s hard to blame him.
While still on the books at Spurs for the moment, Gomes is believed to be on his way out of North London. His former club, PSV Eindhoven, are the team most often linked to his services, though nothing is anywhere near confirmed at this point.
