VIDEO: Cristiano Ronaldo Scores Fantastic Goal Against LA Galaxy

What happens when you put the best players in the world against the Los Angeles Galaxy? Yes, they tend to do quite well. But Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't going to settle for 'quite well'. The Portuguese winger came in with the game 2-0 in Real Madrid's favor, and within minutes of stepping on the field had decided to go waltzing through the MLS side's defense before spanking a shot straight past a baffled Brian Perk.

I don't think anyone on LA can feel too bad about that one - they funneled Ronaldo outside, put him off balance, and he still managed to get a ridiculously powerful left footed shot away. Yes, it beat Perk at his near post, but if he'd gotten in the way of it he may well have broken some bones (possibly an entire skeleton's worth). I guess that's why Ronaldo gets talked about in the same breath as the likes of Lionel Messi and the LA Galaxy do not.
