Yesterday, Gael Clichy left Arsenal to sign for Manchester City. Since a very good deal of footballers are politicians and Arsenal don't really like Manchester United either, Clichy wasted no time before talking smack about fans of the Red Devils. From an interview with the club's official website, which we found via Dirty Tackle:

“I understand one thing is that people who live in Manchester are the true fans and they all from City. ... I won’t be bothered by United fans.”
Don’t be bothered by Clichy, he knows what he’s talking about. After all, he plays for Arsenal, which is the second biggest club in London. What’s the biggest, you ask? That would be Manchester United, of course. Duh.
Clichy becomes the 50th senior player on Manchester City’s roster, and he will have to seriously prove himself to avoid getting loaned out. At £7 million, his transfer fee was the cheapest that City have ever paid for a player, by a lot, so he’s way behind the 8-ball here.
