Join Craig Woods On A Trip Through Irish Soccer History

Ever thought about Irish football before? No? Well, now’s the time to start. Craig Woods, who runs SB Nation affiliate blog The DA (which is one of the funniest things going. Bookmark it), is going on a football tour of Dublin and inviting you, dear readers, along. What’s involved? A pair of friendlies, for starters - Sunday sees Bohemians take on Scottish Premier League side St. Johnstones and on Monday Craig will be covering Shelbourne vs. Millwall.

But that’s not all - Craig will be getting some bona fide UEFA Champions League action as Shamrock Rovers battle Estonians FC Flora (yes, I had to look them up too) in the first round of qualifying action. Along with the matches, Craig will be embarking on an irreverent tour of football history in Ireland, so if you wanted to learn more about the beautiful game on the Emerald Isle, you won’t find a better time - or a better guide.
