FC Barcelona only managed to draw Real Madrid in the first leg of the 2011 Spanish Supercup, but with the return leg taking place in Barcelona at the Camp Nou, that draw might be all they need to set them up to lift the trophy on Wednesday. They're into that position partially (if not mostly) due to the brilliance of Lionel Messi, who scored this brilliant goal at the end of the first half

That goal was Barcelona's second and made it 2-1 in favor of the Blaugranas after Mesut Özil scored the opener for Madrid and David Villa equalized...assisted by Messi, of course. Xabi Alonso would score in the second half for Los Merengues to make the final score 2-2, but a draw at the Santiago Bernabeu is a good enough result that Barcelona will be the favorites to lift the trophy on Wednesday.
The best part about this goal is that it seems normal at this point. If any other player in the world scored a goal like this, we’d talk about it for a week. In this case, we say “Yep, that’s Lionel Messi.”
