Showing the dividends of sending some of their starters home, rather than taking them to Monterrey this week, the Seattle Sounders will be using what essentially amounts to their first-team for Saturday's match against the Columbus Crew. Kasey Keller, Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, Mauro Rosales and Fredy Montero, none of whom went to Mexico, are all in the starting lineup for the Sounders.

Rookie Rich Balchan, who has not played in more than a month, will get his first start of the season at center back after playing most of the season as a central midfielder and left back. Kevin Burns will receive his first start since June 8 in the midfield.
