The Los Angeles Galaxy have reportedly offered David Beckham a one-year contract extension. The deal, according to Fox Soccer, is said to be for roughly $8.9 million.
LA Galaxy Reportedly Offer David Beckham Contract Extension
The Galaxy are said to be in discussions with the English striker to have him stay in LA for another season.

The Galaxy are in the mix with English Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers for the 36-year old midfielder when his current deal with the Galaxy expires at the end of this season.
Beckham had trained with Tottenham back in January before the start of the MLS season and nearly was placed on loan to the English side before the deal feel through.
Beckham has claimed in recent months that he would like to stay in MLS for another year or two if possible. A lot will ride on whether or not the Galaxy finally win a MLS Cup with him. They came close back in 2009 but lost in the MLS Cup final to Real Salt Lake on penalty kicks.
The Galaxy currently sit atop the league standings with 55 points and are the front runners to win the league's Supporters' Shield trophy this season.
