David Beckham might be Major League Soccer's most recognizable face, but it wasn't all that hard for him to go undercover at a Southern California Target store and pretend to hock cologne. The bit was part of the Ellen Degeneres Show and, actually is pretty funny.

The highlight of the clip has to be when Beckham encourages a customer to steal some of the cologne, at one point attempting to forcibly stash a box into the reluctant thief’s pants. It’s not exactly high-brow comedy, but it’s nice to see a relatively buttoned-down personality like Beckham mingling with the people and allowing Ellen to pull his strings like a puppet.
