Los Blancos have a number of injury worries, but will still be favorites over Frank de Boer’s Ajax

    Ronaldo got the ball on the left and spotting a streaking Kaka coming in towards the near post. He played the ball into Kaka’s path and Kaka took the ball towards goal. When Kenneth Vermeer came off his line, Kaka simply left the ball for Benzema to finish into the open net. It was quick and simple, and most importantly it was a goal that has Madrid well on their way to three points.

    Real Madrid Vs. Ajax Live, 2011 UEFA Champions League: Halftime, Ronaldo, Kaka Make It 2-0

    Madrid got things going with a beautiful move that left Ajax slack jawed. They went more than half the field with one-touch passing, moving the ball around at an incredible pace. Eventually, Ozil opened Karim Benzems up on the right, Benzema crossed for Ronaldo and Ronaldo tapped the ball in to put Madrin in front.

    Just before halftime, Los Blancos doubled their lead. This time the maligned Ajax defense lived up, or down, to their reputation. Kaka got the ball 20 yards from goal and was able to turn and survey the field. In this time, no one bothered to close him down so the Brazilian had a go and found the side netting to put Madrid in front.

    Real Madrid Vs. Ajax Live, 2011 UEFA Champions League: Kaka Doubles Madrid Lead

    With a two-goal advantage, it seems almost impossible for Ajax to chase down Los Blancos. Madrid were already the favorites and they outplayed Ajax for the first 40 minutes to go along with their two-goal lead. Ajax had about half the possession, but little of it dangerous. Meanwhile, Ronaldo, Kaka and Mesut Ozil have absolutely terrorized Ajax. This one looks like it is in the bag.
