Catania Vs. Roma, 2012 Serie A, Week 18: Elephants Need To Rebound While Giallorossi Look To Keep Up Form

Catania looks to bounce back from a bad week against a Roma side that is in excellent form

Catania had their worst game of the season against Bologna last week, and their supporters can only hope that result came because they were looking ahead. Jose Enrique's AS Roma comes to town this week, with many suspecting that Catania manager Vincenzo Montella is out for revenge on his former club. He, of course, has denied this, but there's no doubt that he'd love to stick it to the team that opted to release him at the end of last year.

Roma is in spectacular form, beating Chievo 2-0 in their last league game and Fiorentina 3-0 mid-week in the Coppa Italia. They're lacking for depth at striker at the moment, meaning that Francesco Totti has been made into the key player in the side once again.

Catania's home record is excellent, but they are thin for this matchup. Giovanni Marchese and Marco Biagianti are both suspended, while Davide Lanzafame and Pablo Ledesma are doubtful with injuries.
