VIDEO: Lionel Messi Chips & Eric Abidal Finishes To Beat Real Madrid

Eric Abidal gets the glory, but Lionel Messi was the brilliant one as Barcelona found a 77th minutes winner to beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu...again. Barcelona have basically made the Bernabeu their second home and they did it again in the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie with Real Madrid thanks to the perfect chip of Messi and cool finishing of Abidal that earned them a 2-1 win.

It wasn’t Messi’s best match as the marking and hacking tackles of Pepe did well to keep him in check for most of the match, but as always seems o be the case with the Argentinean, he finds a moment of brilliance and changes a match. This time it was with this beautiful chip that put Abidal on goal. The Frenchman had no problem chesting the ball down and knocking it home either to continue their tormenting of their bitter rivals.
