Juventus Transfer Rumors: Martin Caceres Talks To Resume

This is the saga that never ends, it just goes on and on my friends. Juventus have been linked to Sevilla and Uruguay defender Martin Caceres, a former player of theirs, since before the transfer window opened. Their interest is hardly a rumor at this point, but who knows how close this deal is to done. Over at Football Italia, they're saying that talks are set to resume next week, with Daniel Fonseca, Caceres' agent, speaking to Sevilla about a potential move.

Juventus have locked down the right back spot with the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner, but they need help everywhere along the back line. Caceres is a very versatile player who has played every single position across the back in the last year for Sevilla and Uruguay, and he'd be a fantastic pickup for the Old Lady. It's simply a matter of whether or not they're willing to pay the price that Sevilla demand.
