It’s probably fair to say that this hasn’t been the been the best of seasons for Serbian defender Neven Subotic. The centre back, so instrumental in Borussia Dortmund’s capture of the Bundesliga title last year, has only just recovered from a two-month absence caused by a fractured eye socket - and now he’s being hit with allegations of sexual assault.
Neven Subotic Investigated In Sexual Assualt Probe
BVB star Neven Subotic is under investigation along with three other men over the alleged sexual assault of a 21-year-old woman at a party at the Serbian’s residence.

The Dortmund state prosecutor’s office has announced that Subotic is part of a group that’s being investigated after a woman filed sexual assault charges over an incident that occurred during a party at the 23-year-old’s house. Initial reports suggested that the Serbian was asleep at the time of the assault, but a police statement revealed that four suspects aged between 22 and 28 - including Subotic but no other Dortmund players - are now under suspicion.
BVB have refused to comment on the situation until the case is resolved, but this doesn’t look good for either player or team.
