Soccer supporters around the world sure do a bang up job in creating massive visual elements. This video puts together some of 2011’s best displays. There are some truly epic ones in here. Whether its thousands of fans creating a coordinated display made of individual placards or banners that take up entire ends of the stadium, this is proof that soccer fans left to their own devices are a pretty dang creative lot.

The vast majority of these displays are from outside the United States, but two MLS entries did make it in. The easiest to recognize is the Seattle Sounders' "Decades of Dominance" display against the Portland Timbers. But the one right before it in the video belongs to the New York Red Bulls, and that one was pretty cool too.
