Everton’s Marouane Fellaini faces three weeks out with knee injury
Fellaini will miss both of Belgium’s upcoming games, as well as one game for Everton, against Wigan Athletic. He’s likely to return at the end of October for the Merseyside Derby.

The towering central midfielder received the injury during Everton's game against Wigan, but travelled to meet up with the Belgium squad regardless. He then discovered that the injury was more severe than first thought, and will remain in Belgium for treatment.
As well as missing the national team's fixtures against Serbia and Scotland, Fellaini will be unavailable for Everton's games against QPR and, crucially, the Merseyside derby when they take on cross-city rivals Liverpool at home on the 28th October.
A statement on the Belgian FA’s website said: “Fellaini suffered a small tear at the juncture of muscle and tendon in the knee. The injury was revealed during a scan.
"Fellaini was injured last Saturday during the match between his club Everton and Wigan Athletic. He will be out three weeks. It has been agreed with his club that he will rehabilitate in Belgium during this period."
