Arsenal vs. Olympiakos 2012, UEFA Champions League: Game time and TV schedule

Arsenal look to build on their victory over Montpellier as they take on Olympiakos in Group B.

Arsenal face what should be a relatively straightforward home encounter against Olympiakos as they seek progess from group B.

With the Gunners in for a tricky away trip to West Ham at the weekend, manager Arsene Wenger could opt to rest some of their players. Gervinho has played up front in recent games, but Olivier Giroud could start as the Arsenal boss looks to rotate his squad.

Arsenal will also be pleased that Olympiakos' top scorer Rafik Djebbour, who has six goals in the league already this season, will be absent. Despite that, the Greek side were perhaps unfortunate to come away from their fixture against Schalke empty-handed, and with the last meeting between the two sides ending in a 3-1 defeat for Arsenal, and Olympiakos top of the Greek Superliga with five wins out of five, Wenger will be wary of the threat posed.

Arsenal injuries and suspensions

Out: Abou Diaby (thigh), Wojciech Szczesny (ankle), Jack Wilshere (ankle). In doubt: Mikel Arteta (ankle), Bacary Sagna (broken leg.)

Olympiakos injuries and suspensions

Out: Rafik Djebbour (thigh), Vasilios Torosidis

Arsenal's injury woes are mostly centred around midfield, with Abou Diaby definitely out and Mikel Arteta facing a late fitness test after picking up an ankle injury in training. Jack Wilshere recently completed over an hour of football in an Under-21s match, but is not at full fitness yet. Bacary Sagna is almost back to full fitness, but it would be a surprise were he to feature tonight.

Olympiakos, meanwhile, have suffered a heavy blow with the news that top scorer Rafik Djebbour has not recovered in time for this evening’s match. Greece right-back Vasilios Torosidis is also unavailable.

Match Date/Time: 7:45 p.m. local, 2:45 p.m. ET

Venue: The Emirates Stadium, London, England

TV: FOX Sports Net Affiliates (U.S.), Sky Sports 4/HD (U.K.), Sportsnet One (Canada), NET Greece (Greece)

Online: Fox Soccer 2Go (U.S.)
