Galatasaray vs. Fenerbahce: Lineups

Nearly halfway through the Turkish Super Lig season, Galatasaray are on top of the table, just two points ahead of hated rivals Fenerbahce. With a win during their derby on Sunday night, Fener can go top. Both teams’ lineups are as expected, with Gala strong down the flanks and up top, while Fener are the stronger side through the center. It will be interesting to see whose strength wins out and if either side has to go away from what they’re used to as the match progresses.

Galatasaray starting lineup (4-4-2): Fernando Muslera; Albert Riera, Semih Kaya, Dany Nounkeu, Emmanuel Eboue; Hamit Altintop, Felipe Melo, Selcuk Inan, Nordin Amrabat; Umut Bulut, Burak Yilmaz

Fenerbahce starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Volkan Demirel; Hasan Ali Kildrim, Joseph Yobo, Bekir Irtegun, Gokhan Gonul; Raul Meireles, Mehmet Topal; Caner Erkin, Cristian, Dirk Kuyt; Moussa Sow

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. local time from Istanbul.
