This one should be fun. Although both Paris Saint-Germain and Porto have already qualified from Group A, it remains to be seen which of these sides will take top spot and therefore avoid most of Europe’s big guns in the first round of the knockout stages. Porto are currently top of the group, one point ahead of PSG and having already beaten them 1-0 at the Dragao, but a one-point lead doesn’t look particularly safe when you consider that they now have to get a result at the Parc des Princes.

Hopefully the two sides will take this game seriously. If so, we’ll have a match full of attacking verve. The hosts’ dizzying riches have produced a side capable of (mostly thanks to the inimitable Zlatan Ibrahimovic) taking on more or less any defence in Europe. Porto, meanwhile, have weathered the losses of Hulk and Radamel Falcao as they’ve always done, finding and deploying hidden gems to great effect.
Last time these two met, James Rodriguez was the key to a Porto win in an admittedly one-sided match -- hopefully home-field advantage will put PSG in a better position to push the visitors for the three poitns they need to top the group.

With Ibra around, Gameiro’s absense isn’t a huge concern for PSG, although Carlo Ancelotti will probably wish that Thiago Motta was intact enough to do his usual job of disrupting the opposition midfield and controlling play.
