    The first week of the Argentine Primera was mostly exciting, and the matches were very interesting. This week? Not so much, at least on paper. Nothing pops much at all. The biggest match will be contested between Godoy Cruz and Racing, two borderline title contenders.

    Vélez Sársfield plays on Friday night against Banfield, who appear to be continuing their rebuilding process into the Clausura. They finished bottom of the table in the Apertura and were poor against Atlético Rafaela last week. Vélez don’t have a history of performing much worse on the road than they do at home, and anything less than three points will be very disappointing.
