Everton can go past Liverpool into seventh place if they pull off a surprise win at Anfield in the Merseyside Derby.

Many speculated that Liverpool's Carling Cup win would be the momentum boost they needed to challenge Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle for a place in the top four. They are now completely out of that race after losing consecutive league matches to Arsenal and Sunderland.
Meanwhile, Everton are coming off of a win at home against Tottenham and are now just two points behind Liverpool for seventh place in the table. They were certainly aided by Tottenham's complete lack of form and Harry Redknapp's very odd team selection, but their performance was impressive nonetheless.
Steven Gerrard and Glen Johnson are both doubts for the game, but could potentially make the team. Lucas Leiva and Daniel Agger are still out. Everton have a clean bill of health after going through multiple injury crises earlier in the season and David Moyes can set up his team however he likes.
