Fabrice Muamba Has ‘Comfortable’ Night In Intensive Care

There's been more good news on the Fabrice Muamba front as the Bolton Wanderers midfielder continues to improve. Muamba awoke from a medically induced coma on Monday afternoon and has since spoken to family and friends, with Chelsea's Michael Essien reporting that the 23-year-old was able to converse in both French and English. Muamba is now breathing unassisted and the London Chest Hospital released a statement saying that he had a 'comfortable night' in their intensive care unit.

With the progress that's being made in terms of Muamba's health, the team appears ready to go ahead with their weekend fixture against Blackburn Rovers, which was looking set for a postponement. With Bolton's match against Aston Villa already pushed back over this incident, it's heartening to see the club on their way to recovery while Muamba's condition continues to improve.
