AC Milan Vs. Barcelona, 2012 UEFA Champions League: Messi Goal Disallowed, Valdes Makes Key Save

Barcelona finally have the ball in the back of the net at the San Siro, but they don't have the advantage over AC Milan in their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal - Lionel Messi's close range finish has been ruled out for offside. The visitors' movement is simply overwhelming Milan's defence, and there was an another example here as the Rossoneri were caught too narrow, allowing Dani Alves to surge down the right and play a tidy cross for the Argentinian to finish. He was well offside, so it was a good call.

Milan aren't defending well, but they're still a very potent attacking force and it's former Barca man Zlatan Ibrahimovic who's causing the most trouble. Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano are theoretically defending him, but Clarance Seedorf slips the big Swede through with a brilliant through ball only for Victor Valdes to make the save one on one. That was a chance he had to put away.
