VIDEO: Jay DeMerit Has Bieber Fever, Sings “Baby” In The Shower

During the one month every four years that teams from 32 countries converge on one nation for a month of soccer watched by the entire world, people all over are hit by “World Cup Fever.” It’s a rather common ailment, but Jay DeMerit is not a common individual, so naturally he was hit by “Bieber Fever’ while in South Africa.

The night before the United States played England at the 2010 World Cup, DeMerit did not have his mind on the World Cup. No, he had his mind on Justin Bieber, and thanks to Stuart Holden, there’s proof of it. Holden took video of his roommate singing Bieber’s “Baby” in the shower and then joined in and made it a duet. Just because their man cards are currently suspended and being held pending a review by the Man Card Council doesn’t make this any less terrific.

Bieber is everywhere, including at the World Cup with a couple of professional soccer players, one of whom is covered in tattoos, which is completely normal and not the least bit surprising.

And check out Bieber! See, Canada was represented at the World Cup!
