Jose Mourinho's been laying down hints that he might be on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of this season, but it seems that the combination of a league triumph against Barcelona and being knocked out of the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich have caused the Special One to reassess his plans. He and Madrid have unfinished business yet.

Jose Mourinho has unfinished business with Real Madrid, and will stay with the club for another season in an attempt to win the Champions League.

In response to a question whether or not he was going to be staying with the club for another season, Mourinho replied:
Absolutely. If I have anything in my mind, it is to try to win with these [players]. Winning the Copa del Rey last year was important and if we win the league this year that will be important too. Two [Champions League] semi-finals is also not bad but we want more.
My feeling is that we still have the ability to grow as a team and the club has room to grow too. Clubs have to adapt to the evolution of time and to changing mentalities.
Mourinho is still only one of two men to conquer Pep Guardiola's Barcelona, and his latest triumph - all but pipping them to the title after a grueling season - might be even more impressive than Inter Milan's Champions League win two seasons ago. Real Madrid should be very happy to have him around, assuming they can tolerate some of his eccentricities.
