Wolfsburg officially announced today the signing of Ivica Olic on a two year deal. The Croatian international will join in the summer.
Ivica Olic Signs With Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg have signed Ivica Olic to a two year contract.

Olic, 32, is leaving Bayern Munich where he has been since 2009 when he signed from Hamburg. His first season in Munich was his best. Initially signed as a backup for Mario Gomez and Miroslav Klose, Olic found himself as the first choice forward while the other two suffered through injuries, fitness, and form issues. He helped lead Bayern to the Champions League final with 7 goals in the tournament.
His new manager at Wolfsburg Felix Magath seems happy with Olic’s signing. He said, “Ivica is an absolute professional. His determination and willingness to run and get stuck in are exemplary. He has always been a leading performer at his clubs. I’m convinced that he will raise the quality of our squad.”
Olic and Croatia will be at the European Championship this summer. The forward is likely to find himself as first choice in what could be his last international tournament representing his country.
