Alright, that's this game done. Barcelona lead 3-1 after a rather lucky goal from Andres Iniesta. The hosts broke up the length of the pitch and Lionel Messi attempts a long-range effort that probably wasn't going anywhere, only for Phillippe Mexes to inadvertently deflect the ball into Iniesta's path, leaving the midfielder free on goal.
Barcelona Vs. AC Milan, 2012 Champions League: Iniesta Makes It 3-1
Lionel Messi had missed wide from a similar position with the score at 0-0, but Iniesta wasn't about to make the same mistake, lifting the ball coolly over an onrushing Christian Abbiati to give Barcelona a two-goal cushion. Milan need to score twice in the final 35 minutes in order to advance, which seems not very likely at all. So that's Barcelona to the semifinals, in all probability, where they will face one of Benfica and Chelsea.
