Manchester City are playing with a bit more confidence after that chance, which can only be a good thing. The hosts are now stroking the ball around very happily and committing bodies forward, which means that both sides are more dangerous - Manchester United can counterattack whenever they regain possession, and they're always dangerous when they're able to break.
Manchester City Vs. Manchester United, 2012 Premier League: Kompany Booked
In one of those counterattacks, Vincent Kompany goes in very late on Wayne Rooney and wipes out the England strike in the centre circle. Rooney goes down hard and after the play eventually fizzles out Kompany ends up getting booked. Rooney spent about two minutes on the ground there. The tackle didn't look too bad, but the timing was well worth a yellow, despite Kompany's complaints.
Anyway, the game’s more even now, and it wouldn’t be a big surprise if things didn’t stay at 0-0 for much longer.
