Manchester City Vs. Manchester United, 2012 Premier League: United Coming Back Into Game

Manchester City remain on the attack, and Patrice Evra attempts to thwart it with an elbow to the side of Pablo Zabaleta's head. Unsurprisingly, Andre Marriner looks down on such activities and awards a free kick, from which Yaya Toure eventually fizzed in a very dangerous cross which the United defence scrambled clear in rather unconvincing fashion.

The visitors are finally able to clear their lines and hold possession, sparking whistles around the Etihad, and although Danny Welbeck gives the ball away for no reason in the centre, Michael Carrick is able to regain possession and the visitors eventually earn a corner. Nothing comes of it, despite more flapping from Joe Hart. He's looked pretty vulnerable today, but United simply haven't been testing him.

A few minutes later, Phil Jones finds himself in acres of space, and then misses his cross by several miles. Whoops. Better from United though.
