Bayern Munich and Dortmund both won Saturday, while Stuttgart improved their chances of qualifying for Europe.
Bundesliga Week 29, Saturday Scores: Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Stuttgart All Win
The title race is still alive in the Bundesliga, while the race for Europa League spots got a little muddier. Stuttgart were able to win on Saturday, while Werder Bremen drew and Wolfsburg lost. Borussia Dortmund, the league leaders, were the team that downed Wolfsburg, and Bayern Munich kept pace with a win of their own.
Augsburg have been in solid form and have played themselves out of the bottom three, but they didn’t have enough to hang on against Bayern on Saturday. Mario Gomez netted his 24th and 25th goals of the year, the first of which came in the first minute. Koo Ja-Cheol equalized in the first half, but Gomez eventually netted the the winner in the 60th minute.

Hannover 96 have found their way into 5th place in the table on 41 points. Sitting just behind them on 40 points however, is not just one team. Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen, Werder Bremen, and Wolfsburg are all level with 40 points.
