The Scottish Premier League title is returning to Parkhead for the first time since 2008 after Celtic defeated Kilmarnock 6-0 on Saturday to secure the league championship. Charlie Mulgrew notched a brace and four other players knocked in a goal apiece to give Celtic the title in style.
Celtic Capture Scottish Premier League Title In 6-0 Win
The Bhoys are the champions of Scotland and they did it in style, defeating Kilmarnock, 6-0

It took Celtic just eight minutes to go in front and they were four goals clear by halftime, so the match was never really in doubt. It quickly turned into a party for Celtic, much to the delight of the Celtic supporters, who were given three of the four stands at Rugby Park and turned the stadium into Parhead South.
After taking over as caretaker manager in 2010, Neil Lennon led Celtic to a perfect league finish, winning each remaining match to earn the job on a permanent basis. He caught some heat last year when Rangers cruised to victory, but the man from Northern Ireland looks like a genius today.
“It’s the best day of my professional life,” Lennon told ESPN. “It’s been a long time coming. It’s been two years in the waiting. I’m so proud of them. They deserve it. We have been the best team in Scotland by a long way and we have finished it in the right way.”
Of course, Celtic’s title is partly due to Rangers going into administration. While Celtic were ahead at the time, Rangers were right on their heels and had they not been docked 10 points, the title race would still be up for grabs,
But they did go into administration, they were docked 10 points and Celtic are the Scottish champions.
