Do you love ESPN’s announcing team of Ian Darke and Steve McManaman for the English Premier League? I sure hope so because you’re going to get a lot of the two this summer. ESPN announced on Wednesday that (as expected) Darke and McManaman will be the number one team for the channel’s coverage of Euro 2012 so expect a match a day and all of the big ones called by the Ianator and Spice Boy.
ESPN Names Announcers And Analysts For Euro 2012 Coverage
The second team for ESPN will be Adrian Healy and Robbie Mustoe, bringing a couple more familiar voices to the American audience. Healy is a permanent ESPN soccer voice, working MLS matches as well as a host of European leagues, while Mustoe was with ESPN for their 2010 World Cup coverage.
Rounding out the coverage will be Derek Rae and either Taylor Twellman or Kasey Keller. Once again, they are familiar voices on ESPN and Twellman and Keller will also join the studio shows as well to provide additional analysis.
Euro 2012, hosted by Poland and Ukraine, kicks off on June 8 and finished up on July 1. All of the matches will be televised live on either ESPN or ESPN2 in the United States.
