Loic Remy Ruled Out Of Euro 2012 By France
France has ruled Loic Remy out of Euro 2012 with a thigh injury.

The 25 year old was included by Laurent Blanc in the preliminary squad for the tournament with the hopes that he would be recovered in time to go Ukraine and Poland. The other forwards included in the squad are Karim Benzema, Olivier Giroud, and Jeremy Menez.
Remy had his best goalscoring season as a professional finishing with 20 goals in all competitions. Marseille, on the other hand, finished 10th in their worst finish since the 1999-2000 season when they finished 15th and narrowly escaped relegation.
The forward has been capped 17 times by his country and has scored four goals including two in qualifying for Euro 2012. His last goal came last November in a friendly against the United States.
